Emerging from the vibrant music scene at Glamorgan University, the artist Matt “King” Cole kicked off in 1998, rapidly climbing the ladder in Cardiff’s buzzing club scene. With an inventive style that left a mark, he became a fixture at the “Evolution” club, earning props from resident DJs who recognized his unique talent.
Despite facing a life-altering change in 2005, Matt’s love for music remained unshaken. Through hard work and unwavering dedication, he emerged stronger. Guided by his friend and fellow musician Gid Sedgwick, Matt honed his skills, focusing on Dance tracks created with Ableton Live software. In 2015, Matt took charge at the Let’s Love Life Charity DJing event, using his beats to raise funds for St Peters Hospital, Chertsey. The high point of his journey was his appearance at the Marvellous Festival, showcasing his dedication to the craft. Alongside these achievements, he currently hosts shows on Kane FM, Soundwave, and Aldershot Community Radio. Looking ahead, expect more dynamic gigs and a stronger radio presence.
