Mack Bango (formerly DJ Swerve) Started in the NYC underground house-rave scene back in 90′ as a house-break-dancer.

After moving to Atlanta in ’95 he immersed into that culture being schooled by the sounds of Kemit, Chris Udoh, Deep C, Injex and Earthtone.

He gravitated back to the NYC/NE/upstate NY house/rave scene in ’97. This is where he decided it was time to play his signature funky disco house sound.

After producing numerous events first with TBT and then creating Double Impact his dj career took off.

Finally after many years behind the decks in the underground house movement and playing from coast to coast..Mexico and beyond with gigs lined up in Japan/Italy and Amsterdam Mack Bango has finally arrived….

Back in 1999 he was recognised by Red Bull and began to help them produce a series of events along with his own as the founder of “Double Impact”.

Since then, throughout Atlanta, Colorado, New England, Upstate NY, & NYC, Mexico, South Carolina and Florida… He’s played over 50 major rave & Club events, including guest appearances on numerous radio shows.

After moving back to Atlanta in 2005, he has discovered a new sound combining Funk, House, and Tech House while continuing to create the future sounds of Electronic Dance Music.


NOW as MACK BANGO he IS ROCKIN the ATLANTA club scene and beyond and to his credit has his own radio show on The Hottest internet station ArmadaFm.com for over 4 years…. “House Funktion” ..SATURDAY NIGHTS 8pm-10pm EST.

He launched a  label Up/Down Music in 2015…along with production on Tattva…..HOUSE MUSIC LIVES!!!!

In Atlanta, Ga he holds down a residency at ODYSSEY after and Bliss. He is the co-owner of Hi! Energy Records and Hi!Reaction ! Live long and dance my people, is his moto!!
