Victor Simonelli’s name is synonymous with the cutting edge of the Dance Music scene. Simonelli is one of the New York’s finest and most prolific DJ’s. He was also one of the early pioneers of the unique NYC underground dance music movement that has now become a phenomenon it its own right and religiously followed by the clubbing faithful the world over. A producer/re-mixer, song writer, record label owner (West Side Records (USA) , SteLLaR RecordsBig Big TraxCRIMINAL RECORDS, Bassline Records , Brooklyn Trax , Unkwn records ) and highly skilled DJ!

Victors musical professional career spins in almost 4 decades, since 1987  when he took a job working at Shakedown Studios, owned by the legendary producer, Arthur Baker – a breeding ground to the likes of David Cole, Robert Clivilles, Danny Krivit, Benji Candalario, Albert Cabrera, Junior Vasquez, and Bobby Konders , to mention but a few. Victor started to produce, mix and edit a wide range of projects for artists including: David Bowie, Will Downing, Talking Heads, Quincy Jones, Deborah Harry, Sinead O’Connor and Al Jarreau. He began to collaborate on Projects with other Producers as well , such as Danny Krivit , Satoshie Tomie , to mention but a few and Simultaneously he signed a management deal with 23 West and went on to join a roster that boasted Masters At Work and C&C Music Factory.

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………He then moved over to Def Mix and was joined by Frankie Knuckles and Dave Morales and continued to work with Nu Groove and Fourth Floor. He was arranging and editing James Brown’s album, “Love Overdue” (Scotti Bros) as well as BeBe and CeCe Winans single featuring Mavis Staples, entitled, “I’ll Take You There” (Capital). Victor was also on the production and mixing team for the Quincy Jones single, “I’ll be Good To You” (Qwest) featuring Chaka Khan and the legendary Ray Charles. 1993 saw Victor working on “In The .Closet” by Michael Jackson, featuring The Mystery Girl, Madonna (their only ever duet). The dynamic duo TSOS are rapidly uprising stars Roberto Reale and Fabio Giunta, both DJs specialising in Afro, Soul and NuDisco. They were formed in 2012 when they realised they share the same musical influences and taste for music.

Roberto Reale started his DJ career in 2001, playing in various clubs and dipping into the world of radio. Fabio Giunta, took the same route in 2000, becoming a resident DJ in various clubs and selecting the music for exclusive fashion parties etc, utilising his vinyl collection.Today, The Scientists of Sound are Production Assistants for “VJSinc”the production company owned by legendary DJ and Producer Victor Simonelli, one of the major players in House Music and owner of several record labels including Bassline Records, Unkwn Records and West Side Records.

During their careers, The Scientists of Sound have collaborated and played with many house music artists such as Tony Humphries,
David Morales, Joey Negro, DJ Spen, Victor Simonelli and many record labels, such as: Quantize Recordings, TR Records, King Street Sounds, United Music Records, MoBlack Records , DM Recordings , Instant Groove Records, Bassline Records, Unkwn Records.

They are known, not only in Italy but abroad. Sets include Holland, Amsterdam (Ade, Amsterdam Dance Event); Malta, Gozo (Sunscape Festival, Shadow Lounge Club e Moulin Rouge Party – Les Chambres Secrètes) ; Spain, Alicante (VB Weekender) León (Glam Theatre) ; Sviss, Basel (Excellent Club); Italy Treviso (Urban Klub); Taormina (Lido Stockholm) Reggio Calabria (Moony Club, Turquè Beach Club) ; Catania (Officine 83, Afrobar Playa e Maeva Barbara Beach); Pantelleria (Altamarea Club); Agrigento (La Sesta); Mazara Del Vallo (Lido Costanza) ; Salerno (World House Festival); Trapani (Otto e Mezzo Club, Favignana Djoon Experience)
